We work with hundreds of dog owners throughout the UK and internationally to help them learn how to understand and communicate with their dogs, and to build the best possible relationship they can through training, socialisation, confidence building, and structure.
Located in Durham, North East England, our training centre specialises in canine behaviour and training, offering an experience like no other. We provide realistic, proven and effective training that works, and has worked for hundreds of dogs throughout the UK and internationally.
Our team consists of some of the UK’s best trainers and behaviourists to work with you and your dog, and help take the relationship you have with them to the next level.
Following the success of our residential board & train packages, we’re happy to announce the introduction of a brand new service – Day Training.
When life gets busy, one of the first things to slip is prioritising the hours necessary to successfully train and fulfil our dogs in a meaningful and practical way. Our Day Training service has been designed with this in mind as we create a bespoke training schedule that includes practical training sessions, working with our many stooge dogs for socialisation, walks, time for play and more.
Dog training requires commitment, time, ability and the right setup for maximum results. With day training, your dog will spend extended time with our trainers who are able to get to work implementing essential training and behavioural modification, with the added bonus of being cared for while you’re busy or need to work.
Although it’s extremely important that owners develop the necessary skills and ability needed for success with their dogs, having the support of professional and experienced trainers to establish strong foundations you can then build on is invaluable.
Providing an intensive opportunity to have your dog trained by a trainer.
Day training is a convenient, expedient and bespoke training solution, setting owners and their dogs up for success. Dog training requires commitment, time, ability and the right setup for maximum results. With day training, your dog will spend extended time with our trainers who are able to get to work implementing essential training and behavioural modification, with the added bonus of being cared for while you’re busy or need to work.
We have multiple trainers at our facility, each specialising in key areas. You could book your dog in for dog reactivity training, structured socialisation, recall,
obedience, loose leash walking, problem behaviours, and more.
Your dog will receive a walk and 2-3 bespoke training sessions each day. Outside of training sessions and walks they will rest in a private kennel area.
Depending on the appropriate level of exercise for your dog, they will receive a walk each day, the structure of which will naturally depend on their level of training and the key areas of focus for their training.
Prior to enrolling on our day training programme, all dogs must undergo an initial assessment to ensure that it’s a suitable fit for them.
Due to the nature of day training, your dog will be under the care and supervision of our trainers without your presence. Because of this, we’re unable to accept dogs with aggression issues towards people. If you’re unsure whether your dog would be suitable please contact our team at help@valorantk9.co.uk and one of our trainers will be happy to discuss your case with you.
Day training availability runs between Tuesday and Saturday each week.
Drop-off times are between 9-9.30am, and collection times are from 4-4.30pm. Late collections will incur a fee and result in less time to discuss what we’ve worked on that day with you.
All dogs must undergo an initial assessment to ensure that day training is a suitable fit for them. The assessment is £90 and will last around 1-hour.
Day training can be booked in block bookings of 4 Days (£495) and 6 Days (£695).
