What is Littermate Syndrome?
Littermate Syndrome is a condition of over-familiarity and co-dependence, formed between two dogs of similar ages, and does not always…
We work with hundreds of puppy owners throughout the UK and internationally to learn how to understand and communicate with their puppies, and to build the best possible relationship they can through correct socialisation, confidence building, and structure.
Located in Durham, North East England, our training centre specialises in canine behaviour and training, offering an experience like no other. We provide realistic, proven and effective training that works, and has worked for hundreds of dogs throughout the UK and internationally.
Our team consists of some of the UK’s best trainers and behaviourists to work with you and your puppy, and help take the relationship you have with them to the next level.
The first 30 days with a new puppy are vital to their progress moving forwards but, with so much misinformation online, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Our priority is to establish a fantastic relationship between you and your puppy, as well as laying a solid foundation of obedience, confidence and communication.
Every puppy has a unique personality that changes and fluctuates at various stages in their development. A ‘one size fits all’ method doesn’t work for puppy training for this reason; this is why our approach to puppy development is centered around the puppy as an individual, rather than a traditional puppy class which can cause you to miss vital skills. (Don’t worry though – you’ll still have the opportunity to socialise your puppy correctly thanks to our wonderful stooge dogs!)
So, understanding your puppy’s genetics and having a bulletproof plan from day one will help you create the adult dog of your dreams. Our approach to puppy development is focused around raising and training a complete and balanced dog, not just generic obedience exercises and routines.
With the focus being placed on puppies as individuals, we design and craft the focus and training approach to best suit the dog that’s in front of us. Some puppy classes can have up to ten (sometimes more!) puppies in attendance, which is a lot of social pressure for less confident dogs. Our training center and 1-1 approach provides puppies with a private environment which is far less stressful and promotes learning.
With puppies, prevention is always better than cure. So, our focus is centered around giving puppy owners the knowledge and skills they need for success.
Our 5 Week Puppy Course is crafted towards the individual needs of each owner and their puppy, taking into account not only the puppy’s unique genetics according to their breed but also the end goal for the puppy owner!
The course is 5-weeks-long and each session lasts around 45 minutes. Throughout the course we will cover all of the puppy essentials listed below:
All of our sessions are held at our training centre based in Durham – DH1 1FQ.
You can sign up by clicking any of the red ‘CLICK HERE TO WORK WITH US BUTTONS‘ found on this page. The 5 Week Puppy Course is priced at £325 for the 5-weeks of training.
